IT Project Manager
Project Managers supervise the delivery of innovative technology solutions to Rapier customers. In addition, Project Managers serve on and/or lead teams to enhance our client’s existing systems.
Successful candidates will apply their expertise to initiate, lead, plan, implement and coordinate single or multiple technical projects of varying size and complexity. They may participate in procurement activities related to their projects and/or other projects, and they may perform Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) responsibilities. Selected candidates must have the ability to clearly articulate project status to Rapier Solution employees, executives, and clients. Project Managers must also have a proven track record of delivering quality technical capabilities on time and within budget.
Minimum requirements include:
- A B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- 3+ years of experience in the full range of project/ program management activities with emphasis in project planning, risk assessment, resource management, estimating and monitoring costs, quality management and project contract management.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- A strong commitment to continuous learning
- The ability to work in a team environment, motivate people, and keep senior management apprised of progress or delays
- The ability to listen well and work with others to obtain results
- U.S Citizenship
- Top Secret Clearance
