Computer Specialist Job Description:
Must knowledge and experience to install cabling at our government customer location and troubleshoot LAN, Campus, WAN, and telephone issues with connecting network devices
Must have:
- Have a Secret Clearance
- Past Military Experience preferred but not required
- Work independently or as part of a team performing various tasks such as pulling, terminating and testing copper and fiber cable, installing cable tray and various other types of cable support hardware
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, including various punch tools, and test equipment
- Proficient in the use of various types of copper and fiber cable and termination hardware as well as termination and testing procedures used on a day to day basis
- Has working knowledge of EIA/TIA requirements such as distance limitations and pin configurations
- Capable of reading blueprints and cut-sheets as well as generating test reports
- The ability of performing cross connects
Must have:

- Above average computer skills (e-mail, Excel, etc.)
- Good written and oral communication skills
