Log Specialist - Fort Gordon

General Experience: Ten years experience providing internal/external consulting services

Minimum requirements include:

Logistics Specialist:

  • Must have a current DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ten years of experience
  • Required to work efficiently as a individual and/or in a team environment
  • Be able to analyzes and validates reports and other documents within using Standard Army Management Information Systems, Standard Army Maintenance System - Enhanced (SAMS-E)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft EXCEL, Power Point and Word and some experience in Access Database
  • Prepares correspondence, policy, SOP and directives impacting property accountability
  • Proficient in PBUSE to update and post property book transactions
  • Possess the ability to independently analyze and resolve difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility involving accountability processes, work methods, supply data management or day-to-day operational procedures to manage complex classified supply programs.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of supply policies.
  • Have good verbal and written communications skills
  • Participate in the coordination of Installation-wide plans, policies and programs necessary to supervise and manage logistics programs and activities in support of Directorate of Training (DOT) units
  • Responsible for reviewing, evaluating, coordinating, monitoring and providing interface with DOT, and staff counterparts in the review and development of logistics concepts, annexes and plans.
  • Plans, directs, coordinates, markets, and reviews assigned areas of the logistics program, which encompass the operations and activities related to logistical support
  • Monitor work requests for equipment requisitions and equipment received
  • Must be able to pass periodic inspections of records and a record of warranty actions that are under your control
  • Prepare analysis reports to include reports of all data collected from the Physical Space Utilization Survey/Report IAW DA Pam 415-28 and DODI 4165.63M to provide a recommendation on barrack capacity and usage
